Connect your Ghost site to RightBlogger and send AI-written posts with one click. You can publish instantly or send posts as drafts to review first.

What You Need

  • Your Ghost site URL (for example, yourblog.com)
  • A Ghost Admin API key from a custom integration (this is different from the Content API key)

Get Your Ghost Admin API Key

  1. Log into your Ghost admin panel.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Click Add custom integration and give it a name like RightBlogger.
  4. Copy the Admin API Key. Make sure it is the Admin API key, not the Content API key. The Content API key is read-only and cannot create posts.
  5. Note your Ghost site URL (the address of your Ghost site).

Set It Up in RightBlogger

  1. In RightBlogger, open Projects, then Integrations.
  2. Choose Ghost.
  3. Paste your Ghost API URL and Ghost Admin Key.
  4. Turn on Publish instantly to post live, or leave it off to create a draft in your Ghost blog.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Send Content to Ghost

Create your article in RightBlogger. Click Send To, choose Ghost, and your post appears in Ghost as a draft or a published post based on your setting. RightBlogger sends clean, formatted content along with tags, a feature image, and an excerpt.

Automate and Keep It Fresh

Once Ghost is connected, you can do more than one-off sends:

  • Schedule and auto-publish. Queue topics in the Content Planner and let Automations write and publish to Ghost on a schedule.
  • Keep posts in shape. Site Agent can review your published Ghost posts over time and suggest improvements like internal links, sharper meta descriptions, and freshness updates. Available on the Solo, Pro, and Agency plans.

Good to Know

  • RightBlogger connects through the official Ghost Admin API (v5.0), the same secure method Ghost’s own tools use. No password is shared, just the Admin API key.
  • Content is sent as clean HTML, so your headings, links, lists, and bold text render natively in the Ghost editor.
  • The integration supports tags, feature images, and excerpts.
  • Set your default status (draft or published) per project with the Publish instantly toggle.
  • Use the Admin API key, not the Content API key. The Content API key cannot create posts.

Conclusion

With the Ghost integration, you can move content from RightBlogger to your blog in seconds. Keep drafts for review, or publish the moment a post is ready. Need a hand with your Admin API key or site URL? Reach out to our team anytime.
