Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Notice

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It is designed to provide important information on how and why we collect, use, store and share your personal information. It also outlines the rights you can exercise regarding your personal information and how you can contact us if you have any questions or complaints.

This Privacy Policy is legally binding. By visiting, viewing or using this website, our applications, or our browser extension, and/or by using any product or service from us, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

Your privacy is important to RightBlogger.com, which is operated by RightBlogger, LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We use the term "personal information" to refer to data we collect that may, directly or indirectly, identify, describe, relate to or be associated with you. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect when you interact with us through different means, including by visiting and using our website, RightBlogger.com (the "website"), and by using the RightBlogger browser extension (the "extension"). The term "you" refers to any visitor, viewer or user of the website, the extension, and/or any user of any Product. Please note that we cannot control the privacy practices of websites and services that we do not own.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

The following describes the categories of personal information we collect and how we collect such information.

Information You Provide

We collect information you provide to us directly. This includes information you provide when you (i) sign up for, subscribe to, or purchase any of our products or services, (ii) sign up to receive any emails, (iii) create or manage an account, (iv) fill out any forms, (v) respond to any survey, (vi) sign up to become our affiliate partner, or (vii) contact us through any other means, including via an online form or email.

Content You Submit to Our Tools

Our products are AI writing and SEO tools. When you use them, we collect the content you submit for processing — for example a topic, a keyword, an outline, a URL, or text you highlight on a page and send to a tool from the browser extension. We also collect the output generated in response, so that it can be shown to you and saved to your account.

Information from Third Party Sites

We collect some data when you connect with us, comment on or like our posts, or otherwise interact with us on any social media platform. Examples of data we may receive include your profile information, profile picture, social media information, social media handles or nicknames, name, email address, device identifiers and demographic information. Where you connect a third party account to RightBlogger (for example a content management system or a social platform), we collect the credentials or tokens needed to perform the actions you have asked us to perform on that account.

Information from Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity

We automatically collect some data about your computer or mobile device when you access our website. Examples of data we may receive include your Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, cookies from your browser, unique device identifiers, web browser software, information about the referring website, the date, time and length of your visit, including the specific pages you visit, information on how you interact with the website, and other diagnostic data.

The RightBlogger Browser Extension

This section describes the RightBlogger browser extension specifically, and applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

Most of what the extension does happens entirely on your own device. When you open the extension on a page, it reads that page’s headings, links, images, meta tags, structured data, language attributes and word count inside your browser in order to display the analysis to you. That analysis is not transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Data leaves your device only in the following four situations:

  • Signing in. The extension reads your RightBlogger session token from the sb-app-auth-token cookie on rightblogger.com so that you do not have to sign in a second time. It is sent to our API to authenticate your requests. The extension cannot read cookies on any other website.
  • Running an AI tool. When you highlight text and choose a RightBlogger tool from the right-click menu, that text is sent to our servers, and from there to the AI model providers listed below, in order to generate the result you asked for. For the article tool, the page title or first heading is sent instead. Selecting text alone sends nothing.
  • Viewing keyword metrics on Google. If you open the RightBlogger panel on a Google search results page, the keyword you searched for, plus the country and language of that search, is sent to our servers and to our keyword data providers in order to return search volume, difficulty and cost-per-click. The extension does not read your search results or any other content on the page. This feature can be turned off in the extension’s options.
  • Checking robots.txt. When you open the extension on a page, the origin of that page — for example https://example.com, without the path, query string or page content — is sent to our servers in order to retrieve that site’s robots.txt file and favicon, so we can tell you whether the page is blocked from search engines. This feature can be turned off in the extension’s options, after which the extension makes no network request when opened.

What the extension does not collect

The extension does not collect your browsing history or a list of the sites you visit; does not collect page content other than text you deliberately select and submit to a tool; does not collect passwords, payment details or form input; does not read cookies on any site other than rightblogger.com; and contains no analytics, telemetry or advertising technology of any kind.

Your settings

Your extension preferences — how results are displayed, your chosen output language, which tab opens first, and whether robots.txt checking is enabled — are stored by your browser using chrome.storage.sync. This means your browser may synchronise them across devices where you are signed in to the same browser profile. They are stored by your browser, not by us. Short-lived caches are held in chrome.storage.session and are cleared when you close your browser. Uninstalling the extension removes all of this local data.

Purposes for Collecting Information

We use your information for business and commercial purposes. For example, we may use your information to:

  • Create, maintain and service your account, and validate and authenticate you when you log in.
  • Provide the products and services you have requested, including generating output from our AI tools.
  • Process payment for, and communicate with you about, any subscription or purchase.
  • Analyze interactions with you to improve quality.
  • Improve the design, functionality and ease-of-use of our website, extension and products.
  • Secure our website and data, and detect security incidents and protect against, stop, resolve and prevent any fraud and fraudulent transactions and any malicious, deceptive or illegal activity.
  • Provide promotional and marketing communications and information if you elect to receive it, including email marketing.
  • Respond to any inquiries, reviews or other feedback you submit to us, and provide customer service.
  • Conduct research to improve our business processes.
  • Administer affiliate programs.
  • Comply with all applicable law, and respond to legal and regulatory inquiries and assist law enforcement.

Third Parties We Share Information With

The following is a list of third parties that we may share your information with or for. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third party advertising beyond the advertising providers named below.

AI Model Providers

Our tools generate content using large language models. Content you submit to a tool — and the output produced from it — is sent to the model provider that serves the model being used. Requests are routed through the Vercel AI Gateway, and for some models through OpenRouter or Groq. Depending on the model selected, the provider may be Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI, MiniMax, StepFun or Z.ai. The set of available models changes over time as providers release new ones.

Privacy policies: Vercel (https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), OpenRouter (https://openrouter.ai/privacy), Groq (https://groq.com/privacy-policy/), Anthropic (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy), OpenAI (https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy/), Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy), xAI (https://x.ai/legal/privacy-policy).

SEO and Keyword Data Providers

When you research a keyword, or view keyword metrics in the browser extension, the keyword and the associated country and language are sent to our keyword data providers, DataForSEO and VebAPI, in order to return search volume, difficulty, cost-per-click and related search data.

Privacy policies: DataForSEO (https://dataforseo.com/privacy-policy), VebAPI (https://vebapi.com).

Cloud, Hosting and Infrastructure Providers

We use Vercel for hosting and request routing, Supabase for our database and authentication, and Upstash for caching, queues and rate limiting. These providers process and store data on our behalf in order to operate the service, including server logs containing IP addresses and timestamps.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We may collect and access, and may permit our business partners and third party service providers, such as advertising companies, to collect and access your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browsing metadata and other numerical identifiers, such as your browser type, version and operating system (collectively, the "Browsing Information"). We may also use, place, collect and store, or allow our third party service providers to use, place, collect and store, cookies, web beacons, remarketing pixel tags, or other similar tracking technologies.

The RightBlogger browser extension does not use cookies for tracking, and contains no analytics or advertising technology.

Your Choices

It is important to us that you understand your choices regarding your personal information.

  • Opting Out of/Blocking Cookies. Most browsers accept cookies by default. However, most browsers will allow you to prevent accepting new cookies, disable cookies, and/or receive a notification when you receive new cookies. If your browser has such functionalities, information on how you can change your cookie settings can typically be found in the help section of the browser toolbar. Please note that if you do disable cookies, this may have an impact on or interfere with your user experience.
  • Extension data collection. In the browser extension’s options you can turn off robots.txt checking, which stops the only network request the extension makes when you open it, and turn off keyword metrics on Google, which stops the extension from acting on search pages at all. The page analysis continues to work with both turned off, because it runs entirely on your device.
  • Managing "Do Not Track". As required by the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we would like you to know that our systems are currently unable to recognize browser "Do Not Track" signals.
  • Use of Personal Information. You can request that we delete your personal information at any time by contacting us using the contact details provided below, subject to certain exceptions. You can also (i) request to see your personal information that we have available on you, (ii) withdraw consent for our use of your personal information, (iii) review and request we rectify, change or modify your personal information, (iv) restrict or limit the processing of your personal information, (v) cancel the processing of your personal information and (vi) request your personal information and transfer it to another controller without any impediments on our part by contacting us using the contact details provided below.
  • Unsubscribing from Email Marketing. If you receive any email marketing from us, you can opt out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link contained in each email. Please note that unsubscribing from email marketing does not necessarily unsubscribe you from other emails we may send, such as emails about your account or subscription.
  • Other Opt-Out Options. If we send you physical mailings or short message service (SMS) messages or contact you via telephone, you can opt-out by contacting us using the contact details provided below.

Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as it is needed to conduct and operate our business, or until you ask us to delete your personal information by contacting us using the contact details provided below. Content you submit to our tools, and the output generated from it, is retained in association with your account so that it remains available to you, and is deleted when you delete it or when your account is deleted. Server logs containing IP addresses and timestamps are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes. Settings for the browser extension are stored by your browser on your device, not by us, and are removed when you uninstall the extension. Please note that we cannot control the data retention policies of third parties.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

We care about the security of your personal information, so we maintain reasonable and appropriate physical, technical and procedural safeguards to help keep it safe. While we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or other network can be 100% secure, therefore we cannot and do not guarantee that personal information you transmit will remain secure from misuse or interception in all circumstances.
