In Claude on the web or desktop app: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the URL, and sign in. On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it first; Free accounts can add one custom connector. Mobile can use a connector after you add it elsewhere.

Connected in three steps.

  1. 1

    Connect Search Console once

Add your site to RightBlogger and sign in with Google. Access is read-only, and there is no Cloud project, API key or JSON file to set up.

  2. 2

Add the connector to your AI

Paste one URL into Claude or ChatGPT, or one line into Cursor or Claude Code, then approve the sign-in.

  3. 3

    Ask about your site

Your AI pulls clicks, impressions, CTR and position by page, query, country, device or date, and can chart the answer.

Find it, then fix it.

Search Console tells you where a post is losing. RightBlogger also reads the post on your site and can change its title, meta description or body, so the fix happens in the same conversation. Every body edit comes with an undo.

  • Find your page-two keywords

Using RightBlogger, pull my Google Search Console queries for [your site] over the last 28 days. List the ones with an average position between 11 and 20, sorted by impressions, with the page each one belongs to. Then pick the three pages that would gain the most from reaching page one.

  • Fix titles people see but don't click

Using RightBlogger, find the pages on [your site] with the most impressions and a click-through rate below my site average over the last 28 days. Read each live post, suggest a new SEO title and meta description built on the queries it already ranks for, and apply the best one after I approve it.

  • Catch posts that are slipping

Using RightBlogger, show me which posts on [your site] are losing clicks compared with the same months last year, and whether a Google update lines up with the drop. For the top one, read the post and tell me what to change first.

  • Find pages competing for the same keyword

Using RightBlogger, check [your site] for keyword cannibalization: queries where two or more of my own pages compete in Search Console. For each one, tell me which page to keep, and whether to merge, redirect or re-angle the other.

  • Find posts nothing links to

Using RightBlogger, list the orphan posts on [your site] (published posts no other post links to), most Search Console impressions first. For the top three, find older related posts and suggest where to add a link to each.

  • Find searches you have no post for

Using RightBlogger, group my Search Console queries for [your site] from the last 90 days by topic. Find the topics I get impressions for but have no dedicated post about, check my published posts to confirm, and save the five best as ideas on my content calendar.

Why not a free one from GitHub?

You can. The open-source Search Console MCP servers work once they run, but each one starts in the Google Cloud console and ends in a terminal. Hosted connectors skip that, then stop at reading the data. Our guide compares every way to connect Search Console to Claude, with setup steps for each.

What is a Google Search Console MCP?

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT access to your Search Console data, so you can ask about clicks, impressions, CTR and rankings in plain language instead of exporting reports.

Do I need a Google Cloud project or an API key?

No. You connect Search Console in RightBlogger with a Google sign-in, then add the RightBlogger connector to your AI and sign in once more. There are no credentials files, keys or servers to run.

Which AI clients does it work with?

Any client that supports remote MCP servers, including Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, VS Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI. The connector URL is the same everywhere: https://rightblogger.com/api/mcp. Setup steps for each are on the MCP page.

How much data can my AI see?

Up to 25,000 rows per request, by page, query, country, device or date. RightBlogger also keeps your history after you connect, so comparisons can reach past Google's 16-month limit over time.

What can I find with it?

Anything Search Console tracks, by page, query, country, device or date. RightBlogger also runs ready-made checks: quick wins (queries ranking 8 to 20), content decay with any Google update in the same months, keyword cannibalization, clicks by site section, and orphan posts that nothing links to.

Can it change my site?

Only when you ask. Search Console access is read-only. If your blog is connected (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Wix or Framer), your AI can edit a post's title, meta description or body; publishing and anything that uses your quota asks you to confirm first, and body edits can be undone.

Do I need to connect my blog too?

No. Search Console questions and keyword research work without a CMS. Connect one only if you want your AI to read and edit your posts.

What does it cost?

The connector is included with every RightBlogger plan at no extra cost, and a free account can connect Search Console and use the read tools. See plans.
